Erotic sophistication in Vegas

The Crazy Horse Paris at the MGM Grand will have you rethinking your expectation about how a burlesque show can add to your vacation. This is a high-class celebration of the nude female body as an art form. It's sexy, sensual, tasteful, artistic, erotic, clever and interesting celebration of the naked female body using themed lighting, dance choreography and sensual props to arouse the audience.

Crazy Horse seduction: courtesy of Crazy Horse ParisCrazy Horse seduction: courtesy of Crazy Horse ParisThe beautiful (mostly, almost) nude women dance a series of numbers with passionate flair and arousing effect. Our favorites were a toss-up of the erotic, red couch strip-tease number (the couch getting the attention is lusciously shaped as big, red, sultry lips), the upside down mirror scene (duplicating the symmetry of the sexy bodies) is hot, and mmm ... baby buns (enough said)!

Turning up the intensity of your Vegas vacation

To note, the 12 dancers are classically trained in ballet, so their movements are sculpted to expose and accentuate the beauty of their graceful nude forms. Added into the set mix is a 2-male pop and lock dance number that despite the fact they are clothed contrasting to the beautiful nude women was entertaining and an odd short Michael Jackson and gorilla vaudeville act that felt out-of place. Overall, a fantastic sultry show arousing the senses with diverse numbers merging art and the nude female body as an art form - erotic sophistication!

The theater's red velvet walls, seats and booths combined with the dark ambiance and beautiful girls make for some serious snuggling. A great show for couples seeking to see some of Vegas' beautiful women in the burlesque/cabaret style ~ minus the raunch!

Crazy Horse Tips and Tricks

  • Passion on the Red Couch: courtesy of Crazy Horse ParisPassion on the Red Couch: courtesy of Crazy Horse ParisThe stage is very small and the intimate venue keeps your attention focused where it should be.
  • Seating is directly in front of the stage (Section 1), first level tables with great view (Section 2), and the periphery (C). Go for front of Section 2 or splurge for Section A.
  • Arrive ½ hour ahead to get the best seat at your table and sit side by side with your partner to cozy up.
  • Beverage service is available throughout the show. As any show, more expensive than on the strip, but to be expected.
  • Shows Wednesday thru Monday at 8:00 and 10:30 (Tuesdays are dark)

  • On Booking CHEAP Airline Travel, Rebecca said "Re: "one way flights booked singly are usually cheaper and have more options than a round-trip package" I have never found this to be true in the States. In fact, just a couple of years ago, I paid for a round trip flight on United even though I knew that the return would never be used because it was so much cheaper than booking a one way flight. It's possible that airlines have begun changing policies recently without my noticing, I haven't been flying nearly as much these days. But I can say that it has been the accepted wisdom for decades that round trip tickets are significantly cheaper than two one way tickets."

  • On Bed Bugs While Traveling ~ 5 Tips to Help You Avoid Them!, Travel Protection said "This is disgusting!!!! I would not ask for another room if I find bedbugs; it's time for a refund! The hotel staff should use thorough cleaning techniques after a person checks out. I have kids and if they get bit, so help me God!"

  • On My Cancun Love Affair , Darleen said "Great post and yes Cancun beaches are beautiful. I was there many long years ago. I avoid due to liking the more rugged and less built up areas - but with your post I may return. We love vacationing in Mexico - Cozumel and from there went to the mainland and toured. Lastest best place is Huatulco - hot and guaranteed no rain in February when we travel the most. It does appear to be slightly more expensive than we can find, but it is m ore luxurious. For a special trip it may be just the ticket! "

  • On How to Survive an Earthquake, Anna Lopez said "These are all very good tips. However nothing can really prepare you for the first time. I happened to be in Tokyo during the 2011 Tohoku earthquake and I had heard before of going under the desk and protecting yourself. But in reality that moment was so shocking and unexpected that it was hard to act in any way, except to just wait for the earthquake to stop. Nevertheless it's good to know these things if you have a chance or the courage to act!"

  • On Julia’s Favorite Restaurant in Waterloo Region…, Julia Rosien said "Thanks for the comment, Anonymous - I'd feel a lot more comfortable chatting with you if I knew who you were :-) The question is fair but I would prefer not to go into detail. I will say that it was a mistake that should not have happened. But, we are all human and humans make mistakes - even ones that shouldn't happen. How I was treated after the mistake - both at the restaurant and on the phone the next day - more than made up for the error. Had they not admitted right away that it was an inexcusable error and tried to cover up, my feelings would be much different. Sometimes the best test of any product or service is when things go wrong - I want to know there's someone at the company listening to my needs. Charcoal answered the call with kindness and generosity. For the record, the compensation was lovely but it was the staff and how they treated the situation that won me over. Julia"
