Club Orient - St. Martin

Orient yourself for a textile-free vacation

Nicknamed the St. Tropez of the Caribbean, Orient Beach is the playground of Euro-beauties and everyone else who wants to see and be seen. When you're ready to let it all hang out, Club Orient is your clothing-optional destination at the south end of the bay.

Club OrientClub Orient is the most-popular naturist resort on the beautiful island of St. Martin. Club Orient sits at the south end of a beach that runs the gamut from full-out nudity at the Club Orient end to the conservative clothed beach at the north end.

Whether you come for the day from your cruise ship, or stay for a week at the resort, this is one beach you'll want to do more than just soak up the rays.

My advice is to get there early in the morning. If you're a guest of the resort, chairs and umbrellas are complimentary. If not, you'll pay roughly $20 to park yourself.

Orient BeachThe best spot to sit is near the Perch Bar & Grill (dead center of the clothing optional portion of the beach). If you're nervous about dropping your drawers, partial nudity is accepted as well.

Remember that sunbathing (or walking) in the altogether is only acceptable on a portion of the beach. Cross over to the Dutch side and you'll be unceremoniously told to cover up.

Cameras and cell phones are a no-no on the beach, but walking and gawking are expected (especially at the clothing/unclothed transition.

If you're there for the whole day (and why wouldn't you be?) lunch choices are endless. Club Orient's Papagayo Restaurant (at the south end) offers a wide variety of international choices, but food is average at best. You can dine nude though, which is a nice plus.

Orient BeachWander over to the clothed side and you can indulge in anything from baby back ribs to beluga caviar. And all of the bars offer just about any drink you can imagine - as long as you're covered up.

Regardless of whether you keep your swimsuit on or shrug it off the moment you arrive, it's hard to feel out of place at Club Orient and Orient Beach. As long as you have your credit card and sunscreen, you have all you need to have to have fun.

This was our first visit to a nudist resort/beach of any type. We absolutely loved it. Admittedly when the time came to take off our clothes we were both a little sheepish but within five minutes of having done so it was the most relaxing, freeing, exhilarating feeling that one has to partake in to fully understand. Nobody was sitting around qawking at us or staring. The feeling of the warm ocean water on your completely naked skin just cant be described. There was no sexual tension in the air at all, just the most relaxed "letting it all go" feeling. We'll be back many many times, highly recommended.

We just spent 10 days at St Martin and . we spent most of the days at Club orient or within sight of the place. A fine time was had by both of us. I might add, going topless is acceptable on EVERY beach on the French side and most beaches on the Dutch side. Consult your travel brochures for a list of nude beaches on the island. Our best times were had at Cyub Orient.

We loved Orient Beach and plan to retire on St. Martin. They really know how to do it right there. Chairs and umbrellas already on the beach for you. A Cabana Boy bringing you drinks and food, and being able to walk on the beach w/o shoes; your feet never getting burned. The water, oh the water! It was so freeing feeling my breasts bob and float in the water at will.

I am in St. Martin as I write this. We have been to Orient Bay every day. This is the first time I have been to a nude beach, BUT IT WILL NOT BE THE LAST. Club Orient beach has been the highlight of our trip. I dread going home and having to wear clothes!!!!!

All of Orient Beach is on the French side of St. Martin. The north side of the beach has had various levels of enforcement on nudity. An early morning nude stroll along the full beach is usually okay and is a wonderful experience. The Perch is a great spot and Willy the bartender is great.

Enjoy our clothing free lifestyle!

I just love being nude! Love the nudist beach! To me, being nude is being the same person but in a sensually charged ambience that is very pleasurable. Indeed I prefer being with my family and other sociable mixed gender naturists in clubs and resorts for all of our recreation or relaxation. My personal best was three weeks vacation at a resort in France , with everything except sandals put away for the entire duration. The strangeness of shirt and shorts to depart there was almost as strange as becoming a naturist many years before. As regards sex-life; being nude together promotes an appreciation of the pleasure that can be given one to another. At your first naturist experience, you may feel apprehensive and worried that people will be staring at you. You will not find people trying to undress you with their eyes, from afar or near, because there is nothing left for the imagination to remove. You will not find people throwing outdated, lewd or offensive pickup lines at you.

I was there on a cruise a few weeks ago and i really wanted to get a beach massage. I felt a little weird though - i'm new to nude beaches. i wish I hadn't chickened out - it would have made the day great.
