explore nudism togetherAs with any new experience, we suggest you start your nudist experience with a step you can be comfortable with. I guarantee once you’ve begun your own naked journey, you will celebrate this newfound freedom for the rest of your life!

Two Clothing Optional Resorts in Florida to check out

Forget the mindset of nudist resorts as a rustic, commune-style backwoods campsites only for hippies. Both Cypress Cove Nudist Resort and Caliente Club and Resort offer a au naturel luxurymodern, upscale, multigenerational nudist experience that brings nudism to the modern age. Their facilities deliver modern amenities, grounds and facilities to impress and entertainment options to find your groove just as well as similar clothed resorts throughout North America. The difference is life can be enjoyed au naturel … and once the sun kisses your skin and you’ve settled into the reality that hardly anyone has that ideal body type; the bliss of this newfound freedom is a treasure to enjoy!

Cypress Cove Nudist Resort, Kissimmee, FL

Visiting Cypress Cove Nudist Resort, it was clearly evident that its philosophy was to make available a comfortable, quiet-if-you-want-to-be recreation space to enjoy the positive benefits of being naked comfortably in your own skin, while chock full of amenities and activities to be as busy as you want to be.

Cypress Cove Resort pool (compliments Cypress cove)Their family-friendly space offers a chance to “Enjoy Florida just as nature intended it” with 300 acres total space that includes a 50-acre lake, 130 acres of protected wetlands and the remainder a mixture of 84 villa/hotel rooms, a modern campsite/RV park and its own nudist residential community. Cypress Cove keeps you busy with 2 large swimming pools, hot tubs, a spa, fitness center, one of the few nudist libraries in the world and tons of activities if you choose to participate (tennis, shuffleboard, horse shoes, pickleball, pétanque and chip and putt golf to name a few). Given the large property there’s easily 1+ miles of walkable circuits.

Cypress Cove Villa Rooms (compliments Cypress Cove)Accommodations at Cypress Cove range from hotel-style accommodations to Villa apartment units. All are comfortably rich in key amenities and have been recently remodelled. Rates logically vary by high and low season - their online profile best shows the Cypress Cove rooms selection.

Five Cypress Cove attributes we think are (bare) buns-worthy:

  • Large 50-acre fresh water lake and white sand beach for your sunning and swimming needs
  • Three great dining options – Cheek’s Bar and Grill (poolside), Lakeside Restaurant (fine dining) and Scuttlebutts Lounge (tavern)
  • Scheduled activities daily and themed weekends keep the energy flowing.
  • Cypress Cove beachfront (courtesy Cypress Cove)Wanna dance … naked? Two clubs start grooving with differing musical vibes each weekend
  • Girlfriends – single men are discouraged so the naked vibe stays wholesome, non-sexual

Caliente Club and Resort

As sure as the definition for Caliente implies “HOT”, the energy level for the Caliente Club and Resorts is also a sexy, vibrant, naked HOT! The music pumping at their large free-form pool, the sexy themed events each weekend at the nightclub that sizzle and the sans clothes environment really amps up the energy.

Caliente poolside (compliments Caliente)Caliente Club and Resort, just outside Tampa, FL makes every effort to create its sexy naked energy beginning with the adults-only resort facilities and amenities. The centerpiece is certainly their large free-form pool with rock waterfall and grotto (just 1 of their 3 pools) but add the sexy nightclub with regular weekend themed events, their clothing optional Fine Dining option … and their spa – the Spa Sereno! I’ve been to many resort spa’s and I was duly impressed by their specialty offerings (hot cane treatment, 4-hand massage, vichy showers, warm oil drip, body waxing, tattooing and facials) offering a broad spectrum of body treatments, with well trained therapists, to get your body into a natural state. Sound delicious?

Caliente Hotel-style room (compliments Caliente)Caliente’s luxury accommodations range from 24 hotel style accommodations to a selection of condo’s and larger casitas to fit your personal level of comfort. Within their large property is 2 miles of walking trails and activities like pickleball, volleyball, tennis, basketball, a full exercise room (if you really want). Upscale luxury au naturel with options to fit your personality.

Five Caliente Club and Resort attributes we think are (bare) buns-worthy:

  • Sexy hot vibe without blatant public sexuality. Sexy themed nights and risqué dress encouraged at the nightclub for a zest of spice.
  • Attire “appropriate for the occasion” is the only dress code with a behaviour “never needing an apology” is the norm.
  • Couples-oriented but singles are allowed (with single females receiving beneficial encouragement)
  • sexy vibe at Caliente's Piano Bar (compliments Caliente)Their Spa Sereno treatments are diverse and fun with therapist experts having years of experience.
  • Caliente’s large free-form pool with waterfall is a central gathering place to meet people, sun and swim textile free

Heat Index rating

  • Atmosphere: sexy naked energy
  • Suited to: Couples (and single females), nudist to clothing optional & lifestylers
  • Naked factor: Clothing optional spectrum to full nudity
  • Sexual Heat Index: Warm with occasional bouts of hot. No personal displays of affection in public areas.

Florida’s Nude Beaches to bare it all

Florida’s hundreds of miles of shoreline, warm temperatures and countless hours of sunshine give lots of opportunity (still not enough in my opinion) for naturists to bare it all and enjoy the sun on their skin. While the Atlantic Coast gets more of the clothing optional beach playgroundnude beach love, Florida’s Gulf Coast has some efforts underway to join the trending global nudist movement with some beaches of their own.

As we’ve travelled the Florida shoreline in search of approved popular nude beachfront, from most popular to quietest below, we’ve listed some bare-bum beach-worthy finds to help you get your tan lines gone! Click one of the links below to see GoGirlfriend’s review posts on these naturist beaches.

  • Haulover Nude Beach – world renowned and uber-popular, Haulover’s nude beach attracts well over a million naked visitors to its Atlantic shores. Being in the Miami Fort Lauderdale beach corridor, amenities and activities abound to make this a popular must-visit destination.
  • Playalinda Nude beach – a popular beach destination just north of Cape Canaveral (since it clocks in just over an hour from Orlando), head to the north end of the parking areas (Lot #13) to find your naked crowd.
  • Apollo Naturist Beach – located on the Atlantic coast (not to be confused with the textile Apollo Beach on the gulf coast) along the North part of Canaveral National Seashore, this is a much quieter gem of a nude beach within 90 minutes of Orlando, accessible through New Smyrna Beach.
  • walking the beachfront at Blind Creek BeachBlind Creek Beach – Along the Atlantic shoreline half way between Cape Canaveral and Miami sits the barrier Hutchison Island. Blind Creek beach offers a clothing optional section with a mile of naked shoreline to walk, find your own spot to sun and relax. Still a mostly undiscovered nudist gem, this mile stretch has lots of room to spread out – perfect for the first timer to a nude beach.
  • Tampa Bay Area Naturists have a proposal for a stretch of beach to be designated clothing optional on Honeymoon Island. They need your help in acquiring 10,000 signatures (currently about 8000) to help show public support. Sign their petition to support a clothing-optional beach for Tampa Bay

Florida clearly has their naked groove on and is working hard to give you lots of opportunity to catch some rays how you want. The naturist experience encourages a positive awareness for body acceptance, promotes self-acceptance as you are and these venues allow space to shed your second skin and experience the freedom of the experience.
